The Water Commission of the State of Mexico (CMEA) reported the cleaning work of houses, streets and avenues of four municipalities affected by the powerful rain that pelted the region on Sunday.
In a statement, the CMEA reported that it mobilized 75 members of the Tlaloc Group to provide support for the removal of water from houses and roadways in Coacalco, San Mateo Atenco, Cuautitlán, and Ecatepec.
The mission included support for the families affected by the massive hailstorm and pointed out that in Coacalco, 65 houses were affected in the area of Villa de las Flores by a precipitation of more than two inches.
It also cleaned the flooding in main José López Portillo avenue, as well as in boulevard Villa de las Flores and other streets of the area.
In the meantime, in Ecatepec, the flooded areas were taken care in support of the municipal water agency.
Seven houses and local roads were cleared in Tecamac; 20 houses in Cuautitlán and in San Mateo Atenco 7,8 inches of water were cleared from the roads.
In the meantime, the Town Hall of Tultitlán reported that its staff works to repair the damage left by the storm.
