Giovani shows his stuff to New York City

Mexican Giovani Dos Santos helped Los Angeles Galaxy with a goal and two assists for a landslide victory of 5-1 win over New York City in a Major League Soccer game in the StubHub Center.

The Galaxy presented a full deck for the game, with Dos Santos and Irish Robbie Keane, while New York presented Spanish David Villa.

The Galaxy opened the score on the 35 minute with a goal by Gyasi Zardes, with the head inside the area, after a center of Keane.

On the 54 Giovani assisted Keane, who broke the defense of goalie Josh Saunders and got the second goal for L.A.

Subsequently, the Irish returned the favor and Gio scored on the 67, to place the cards at 3-0. Three minutes later, Steven Gerrard got them to 4-0.

New York City got its lonely goal after a penalty shot by Villa, but Keane got the last goal to seal the victory.
