Factory on fire in the State of Mexico

An intense mobilization of emergency response teams was caused by the burning of a factory in the Santa María Xalostoc neighborhood, in the State of Mexico. According to the first reports of the government of the municipality of Ecatepec, the incident is happening in a factory on 22 Street and Hierro, where firefighters and Civil Protection officers arrived. According to the local authorities, the incident occurs in a plastic recycling company. Some of the nearby houses are being evacuated by security officers. A great column of smoke can be seen from different points of the Valley of Mexico. Officers from the fire brigade of nearby Tlalnepantla municipality have arrived in support of the local security forces. So far, there are no reports of injuries.
