Interior Minister Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong met today with the parents of the students teachers of Ayotzinapa to discuss the progress in the investigations into the disappearance of the students in September last year.
In a statement, the Interior Ministry reported that the meeting was held in the "Juárez" hall, where Osorio Chong heard the proposals and demands of the relatives of the student teachers.
It was reported that Osorio Chong was accompanied by the Undersecretary for Human Rights, Roberto Campa Cifrián; by the group of experts from the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights Francisco Cox Vial and Alejandro Valencia Villa; by the Executive Chairman of the Commission for Victims (CEAV), Jaime Rochin, and by the Chief of Gendarmerie Division of the Federal Police, Manelich Castillo.
Members of the Interdisciplinary Committee of Independent Experts and representatives of the Human Rights Center Miguel Agustín Pro Juárez and Human Rights of the Mountain "Tlachinollan" also attended the meeting.
