Final farewell to policemen killed in Tabasco

The Department of Public Security of Tabasco (SSP) conducted a ceremony in honor of the three state police officers who were gunned down by suspected criminals on Friday. Through a statement, the SSP noted that "by the decision of the relatives of the fallen officers, their bodies were not transferred" to the esplanade where the ceremony was held. The statement did not elaborate on the decision. The officers killed last Friday are José Matias Pérez Aguilar, Miguel Díaz Frías, and Abel de la Cruz García. In these clashes last Friday, after an unsuccessful attempt of kidnapping in the neighborhood of Municipal, five presumed criminals were also killed.
