Federal police in Sinaloa seized a truck carrying more than 500 packages containing marijuana.
The National Security Commission explained that the vehicle was intercepted on the Matamoros-Mazatlán highway.
The vehicle, that lacked circulation permit, was taken to the Attorney General's Office in Mazatlán, and a total of 589 packages that contained 7,366 kilos of marihuana were found inside of the semi-trailer.
The driver and his companion, who said that they were heading to the municipality of Concordia to repair the cooling system, were also put under the custody of the Attorney General's Office in Mazatlán.
