Over 440 pounds of cocaine seized in Veracruz

Mexico's Federal Police and the Ministry of National Defense seized 197 packages with 216 kilos (440 pounds) of cocaine.

The packages were hidden in the cabin of a trailer that circulated on the Nuevo Teapa-Cosoleacaque highway.

The driver and the woman that accompanied him were transferred to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Coatzacoalcos, that will investigate the case.
