Oseguera Parra declares on 'El Chapo' escape

The former head of the Federal Prison system, Celina Oseguera Parra, is being questioned in the offices of the Assistant Attorney Specialized on Organized Crime Investigations (SEIDO) about the escape of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán last June 11, according to official sources.

Oseguera Parra is being questioned because as the head of the federal prison system she would have access to the blueprints and monitoring system of the El Altiplano prison.

She was terminated on July 13, along the head of the Agency of Prevention and Social Readaptation, Juan Ignacio Hernández Mora.
