The head of the National Security Commission, Monte Alejandro Rubido, presented three videos taken by the cameras inside the cell of Joaquín Guzmán Loera, just when he escaped the federal prison of El Altiplano.
In the first two videos, taken with different cameras, the exact moment of his escape can be seen.
At 8:51 p.m. the criminal goes to the blind spot of the camera, in the shower. He also performs some normal activities, like going to bed, tending his clothes and walk in circles. At 8:52 he disappears because he presumably uses a hole to access a tunnel and escape.
On the third video some aspects of the tunnel can be seen, like its dimensions and the implements used in the escape.
At a press conference, Rubido García also presented a satellite view of the distance between the jail and the house covering the exit of the tunnel.
The images were presented to media under orders from the Minister of the Interior, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong.
