New sanction against Horcasitas

The Comptroller General of Mexico City imposed a new sanction against the former head of the Metropolitan Subway System, Enrique Horcasitas, due to the irregularities in the construction of doomed Line 12.

He was disqualified from public office for ten years and fined for US$498,000.

Horcasitas is facing an arrest order and remains a fugitive, even while he obtained an appeal against all actions from the Office of the Attorney of Mexico City.

This morning, the Comptroller presented a list of 90 sanctions against public officials, among them Horcasitas.
