Singer Joan Sebastian dies at 64

Mexican singer and writer, Joan Sebastian, died this afternoon, according to a report by Noticieros Televisa.

The information was confirmed on Twitter, but so far there are no reactions from his children Julián and José Manuel, or his former wife, Costarrican actress and singer Maribel Guardia.

Just in April, the writer of hits like "Juliantla," "Tu y yo," and "Secreto de Amor," had been admitted to a hospital because of a resurgence of the cancer that had been affecting him for some time.
