Popocatépetl spews 76 low-intensity exhalations

In the last 24 hours the monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 76 low-intensity exhalations, some of them accompanied by steam, gas and ash.

The most important was registered today at 10:54, reaching 1 km above the crater and it was followed by low-amplitude tremor during 5 minutes.

Also, a low-intensity explosion was registered yesterday at 22:02 hours. 

Overnight slight incandescence was observed over the crater increasing when some exhalations.
