Jorge Camacho, the candidate of the right-wing National Action Party to the governorship of Guerrero, denounced that his campaign team was fired upon at 9:30 p.m. Friday in the area of Coyuquilla, near Petatlán.
Camacho said that his collaborators were on board a car when they were shot by a group of strangers, who then detained them and after they identified themselves left them in the area.
In an interview with EL UNIVERSAL, Camacho said that he does not know if this was a confusion or a direct action, but he will denounce the attack before the authorities nevertheless.
